average time spent swinging

what is your average time you spend MD'ing when you are out before your arm tires?and with what machine?

I can swing my BH Pioneer 505 all day. My loaded GT and DFX are good for 3 to 4 hours each. I will often swing my DFX for a few hours in the morning and my GT a few hours same day in the afternoon. Typical day is 3 to 4 hours with GT or DFX. HH. Matt

I can hunt with my Minelab Explorer for about 3 hours before my arm starts bothering me. The Garrett AT Pro . . an hour longer than that.

5-6 hrs sometimes...8 hrs if you dont count the occasional toilet break or geta drink or change batteries or machines..... acually it isnt my arms that bother me so much as it is hands and wrist...hand tends to start getting numb then i know its time to start swinging with the other hand...i find i can go a long time if i alternate left,right ....usually swing gt or excal...

3-4 hrs...typically very early in the am, 5 to 8 or 9.. seldom to never in the pm, with a F70...its not the arm, or the machine at all...its the sun and exertion that gets me wore out. I can go all day if its overcast and cool. You know, on those certain days when the soil moisture is just right, and you are firing on all eight, targets galore that you just cant leave. Right now its the beach sand for me, smoke jumping from hot spot to the next... that is tough duty there! I wear shorts and go barefoot, but covering miles of sand, climbing dunes, wading the surf, swinging a 10' swath is very exhausting, but has to be good for a guy.

I noticed a straight shaft will help increase swing time by double unless heat and or alot of digging is involved, anyone else notice this? I really thought most detect for like eight hours in a day, but i guess I am in the norm of about two to three hours. closer to two with my Excal. with the heat. I would love to be able to go eight hours

What bothers me physically; is my right elbow joint and inside my right shoulder blade closest to the spine up the right side of my neck. I switch arms and can hunt about 6 hrs swinging a hip mounted CZ and/or a f-75.
If the finds are good, adrenalin kicks in and I can go longer provided I eat and drink....cup of java helps.
