Avatar Picture and other Pictures

If you want to put an avatar picture up, click on "Control Center" that is underneath the forum title ie "Whites MXT Users Forum" and on the left hand side, click "Manage My Avatars". It will then have a browse button and you need to click on that to bring up your pictures that you saved on your computer in your file. After finding the photo you want, click on "submit". Then click the little dot at the left and save changes. Remember, you can only have an avatar that is 100x100 pixels. That's a very small picture. If you need help resizing the picture, here's a great link and it works super fast. http://www.resize2mail.com/


When uploading a picture on here of your finds, #1: Make sure you know what file your photos are in. Also the photos can't be extremely large so that's where the link comes in handy again. Right above this message box there's a "upload file" link. Click on it and then "browse" to find your photo. Click on your photo and then press "upload". That should make the photo in the message box.

It is a very nice picture Nancy.----We were just giving Larry a "hard time"---He'd think we didn't like him if we didn't do that. :biggrin: -----So THAT'S what that card is in my wallet with those letters on it----my ARRP card----NOW I remember!! ;)

Hi Nancy, I tried to re-size one of my pics from the site you shared with us, but after I sized it, I didn't know where it went and when I went back to my pictures to download it to my avatar, it still said "too big to post"?? I re-sized it to 25% of it's original size. I must be missing something???
On another note, I would like to get a smaller coil for my MXT to get better separation in trashy areas, what coil would you or the Mr. recommend that I should get? I really don't want to end up with 4 or 5 coils....

Nancy's re-size program is too hard for me, I use the paint program. Go to pictures and double click on the picture you want to use. Then click on OPEN and choose PAINT. When you proceed to reduce the picture, the pixels will be shown in the lower right corner....... they must not be larger than 100X100 for an Avatar.

Thank you Larry and you're never going to believe this, but after you told me there was one for sale, I went on craigslist and found one for sale also. I ended up buying a brand new White's Eclipse 5.3 and like new White's Koss stereo dual control headphones, both for $55.00,..... did I mention that was for both!!! :eek:) Whoa!!!!
I was so knocked over, that before I left my house to go buy them, I called him once again to confirm the price. I have them home already and am totally thrilled with my new finds... :eek:) Thank you for the suggestion of what to buy!!!

P.s.s. Do you have anywhere we can go Treasure Hunting??? I live in Michigan. Right now it's snowing and 32 degrees.. : o(
