Autumn Finds - Now that is Special!

COINHAWKER

Here are most of my finds since October. I continue to be impressed by the XP Deus. I found the silver coins in local neighborhood athletic parks that were detected for years. Some of these coins came out of spots with old rusted bottle caps. The silver ring was a real surprise. It was no more than 4 inches deep. There was a large underground pipe that extended from the road into the park. I found the ring within two feet of the pipe. Perhaps other detectors had interference from this pipe and thus others could not find it. The ring appears to be from the 40's or 50's and its marked sterling. The guy must of worn this for a long time because the ring shows some good wear on the details. Keep working with the Deus folks. It is a real killer on coins and jewelry. It will find stuff many other detectors missed.

The Deus continues to impress me. I seem to learn something new about it each time I go out. There are many, many pros in using this unit! Good job on your finds!

Nice finds!!! I just got a deus,ws5 and wasn't sure I went the right route by purchasing it, I'm a coin hunter 1st, jewelry too.
Do you run In 4 kHz on your hunts?

All the silver coins except the 1916 barber dime was found this weekend at two small park areas. I am not done covering this area. Hoping for more! Yes I agree, 8kz sniffs out the silver! What's great about the Deus is you can switch frequencies at a touch when needed. One week ago I was in a park and I got sudden electrical interference. I switched from 8kz to 12kz and the interference stopped. Thanks for your comments. I seen your videos and they were very helpful. Hats off for sharing with us.

What a great haul - congrats !

Very impressive finds, the lower frequencies are hitting the Silver.

Thanks Gary. The lower 8kz is certainly finding silver. Please see my update Late Autumn Silver Bang. I got those silver coins at the same little park. I'm loving the XP Deus more and getting great depth. - Paul
