Auto or Manual?

Aaron

Well-known member
I always use semi auto on the Etrac and have been using auto as well on the CTX however I'm curious what everyone else is using. Seems like whenever I use manuel on the CTX I get to much falsing.

Thanks

Aaron

AUTO :super: it rock and run +2 . I run in it and it is HAMMERING the old deep coins:twodetecting::minelab::cheers:

I used to tun manual with my Etrac but have been very happy with the auto +3 on the 3030,,,, a few very good hunters here have noticed a slight difference in using manual to get a little deeper, but I have not had toe to experiment

I was running Manual 27 on the CTX until this weekend, and on Auto +3 I found some deep keepers. Large Cent at 8", 1949 Rosie at about 6-7", a Barber at 6-7", and a Buffalo nickel at 6". I think I'm sticking with Auto. :)

Played with both and didn't notice manual any deeper. Auto plus 3 for me combined, ground coin with an occasional switch to ferrous coin depending on the ground.

Auto +3 for me

been using manual 30 unless in a trashy area. I hear everything at a high number.
