Auto or Manual Sensitivity

I was told that using the manual setting will get you deeper. It appears to be true but while on manual the threshold disappears and subsequently the crosshairs will not move on new targets. Any suggestions. thank you

Yes, manual will most times get deeper, but if your in high iron you will want to lower it a bit as well.. If I am in high iron I usually run down around 18 or so, and in cleaner areas up to 26 or more.. sometimes even lowering it down to 10 in hogh iron will pick off some more stuff.. I dont like auto as it seems to me to be restting to fast in the variable ground.. but in some types of high mineralization(orange/red dirt) auto does seem to do better
