Yesterday with sensitivity set to 15 auto the threshhold became extreemly unstable and irratic
when I switched to manual it smoothed out.What causes this?
 
I am not sure what causes it, but I know what your talking about.. I think its because of quickly changing ground conditions and the explorer is resetting itself to the ground so quickly.. one of the reasons I prefer to keep it in manual even if I have to hunt in a null, or run low sensitivity
