Auto ground track on C$

So how long does the auto track on the C$ take to get a good ground balance if i cant find an area void of metal to do a GB at?Also does it work in disk mode?

Auto tracking Gb works in all metal and disc, 4-5 full sweeps is all that is needed and it does not matter if some of the sweeps are over metal/iron. When I had the C$ I used tracking quite frequently to set the GB when working sites where it is nearly impossible to find a clean spot to balance. IMO iron performance is enhanced a bit if the detector sees some iron while using auto tracking to set the GB.
