this morning i took out my ace 250 and scored $10.80 in loose change plus a couple of cheap ear rings , feeling a little browned of with the world i went home . walking into the house ,my wife said theres something sitting on the lounge for you.oh what the heck,i'll have alook. you bloody beauty, it's arrived my jackaroo.[vaquero to you people of northen persuasion] he he he. so what do you want to do now says my wife? silly woman,give me few minutes to figure this start up mode out and we'll give it a whirl .you go and catch us a feed of fish and i'll try and reduce my bill to you. poor grounds ,the jackaroo cost me $1080 in australia i now owe my wife $1078.72,it's a start ,but i always liked a challenge . i really was surprised to get it up and running so smoothly.well tabdog if you are reading this i'm going to stir up all the other minelabbers and sundries in the area.is it v for victory or v for vaquero.wtg . blowfly

Glad to hear your V showed up.

Mine didn't cost as many $$$$, but it was hard to come by non the less.

Surprising how smooth the V is. To me, it is very pleasurable.

It can be hopped up with the controls to make it hotter. Just turn up

the sensitivity and threshold all the way.

I like to turn the sensitivity up all the way and set the threshold proper.

Then hunt in all metal and switch to the disc mode to check out the target.

The all metal is descriptive enough that I can decide to dig a lot of times

without using the disc mode.

I find the VCO all metal of the V to be a big advantage with this machine.

The V's VCO is slower, but it works so well and it makes up for it with it's

descriptiveness of targets.
