Hi, I need an underwater metal detector to find a mate's wedding ring that he lost over the side of a jetty in Perth, Western Australia. I very much hope to be able to go out next weekend 03/05/08 with the hired unit to search for his lost treasure. Are any of you able to direct me in whom I would hire a detector for this job from? Cheers, Peter.

Hi cephas, here is the ph no of The prospectors patch in Guildford WA : (0:geek: 93793636 if they can't help maybe they know some one who can. HH regards Nugget.:detecting:

update, ring found, depth was only 4m, was still sitting on the surface of the sand after two weeks, the detector wasn't needed, we found a lot of lead sinkers with it though, was difficult to hear the tone from the detector over the sound of the bubbles from breathing out

Hi cephas, glad you got the ring! I find that if I equalise more often, the sound through the headphones rings through loud and clear. HH, regards Nugget.
