Hi Guys, Got sick of the 70 falling over so made a stand that uses the original thread bolt to hold it on. No problems now.

I heated the original stand with a heat gun and bent the fins out approximately 1". HH, Mike

Here is another photo of the bracket. I also have 2 stainless steel bolts through into the original stand to stop it turning.The plastic i used is from the back of a tv case.

I never lay my detector down, no particular reason, just the way i been doin it for years, But that looks like a good idea if you set one down , very cool
