Aug 16 Little Park Update: Silver #40 for month / #113 for year, 14 day silver streak!

Went back to the little park for a quick 1.5 hour hunt.

For silver, I ended up with a 1936 merc. Silver #113 for year.

That makes 40 silver for August 113 silver for year. I had 44 silver TOTAL in the previous 11 years.

Also picked up 8 wheaties That makes 137 wheaties for August and 386 for the year. I had 270 wheats TOTAL in the previous 11 years.

I HAVE NOW FOUND SILVER THE LAST 14 DAYS THAT I HAVE HUNTED (40 silver). I am sure I have just jinxed myself now

This postage stamp sized park has now given me 48 silver and 210 wheats in 55 hours hunting.

Nice! I'm still waiting for my first Merc for 2013, strangely.

That is a massive silver percentage increase! What's your secret?

Dang, Tony, that's a nice looking Merc. Very good condition. You gave me a small window of opportunity to make up some ground, but I wasn't able to get out today. I'm heading out again for another backpacking trip on Sunday, so next week is shot, also. It'll probably be the 28th before I can get out again. Let's see. You should be over 150 by then!
