Aug 10 Little Park update: 3 silver, 18 wheats today ... SILVER #98,99,100 for year!

Went back to the little park this morning and ended up hunting 2.25 hours.

For silver, I ended up with a 1943 merc and 1950 and 1952 rosie dimes. Silver # 98, 99, and 100 for year.

That makes 27 silver for August (ALL DIMES) and 100 silver for year. I had 44 silver TOTAL in the previous 11 years.

Also picked up 18 wheaties That makes 92 wheaties for August and 341 for the year. I had 270 wheats TOTAL in the previous 11 years.

This postage stamp sized park has now given me 42 silver and 180 wheats in my last 42.5 hours hunting there.

Congrats that is awesome how you are slaying the silvers and wheats now!

Congratulations on hitting the 100th silver mark in one year! I have never gotten there. Good job! Keep detecting that spot. It looks like there are a lot more to come. Unbelievable !!!!

Tony,
I forgot to ask what kind of depths are you finding your Rosie's, Mercs and Barbers?

a couple at 4" rang up at 14/41-12/43 . most hit a fairly solid 12/44 at 6" - 7" deep.

Awesome!

I new 100 was in the bag for you get a good spot and pound it and the silver flows . WTG sube

Congrats, Tony!! I thought you weren't going back until tomorrow? Those last three were calling to you, huh? I picked up another Rosie today, so I'm at 56. I don't see 100 for me this year with the little amount of time I have to detect now. Maybe next year. Good job on your century mark. I know you worked hard at it and it paid off.

That is amazing. I live out in the desert of So. Cal. I rarely find silver coins. I have just 6 for the year, but one is a 1905 O barber half and another is a 1935 walker. I would love to hunt the east coast for a while. That's where all the history is.
