Audio worry ?

Need some advice on my audio , what happens is it just goes quiet like I've turned down the volume knob to its lowest setting.

Have tried switching it off & restarting, re-setting the batteries, different modes, ground balancing both fast grab & manual.
Sometimes it goes back to normal only to drop down again , other times it just goes quite when I place on the ground whilst digging a target.

I do check to see it I have bumped the knob when it happens.

Any ideas please ?

Bobby.

I would first check the head phones. see if you does it without the headphones. If it does it both ways, I would call fisher to see if they know the problem.

does sound like a power issue. I would check the battery clips to be sure they are making good contact. Maybe give them a clean with a pencil eraser if you can get it in there. That will remove most dirt or oxidation if any. And be sure the batteries are seating properly in the holder.

Thanks for all your help so far, have tried everything but its no good still stuck at the low volume , being in Australia its far to expensive to phone, can anyone give me an email address at Fishers for this problem.
I imported from the US.

Thank you Hoarder, I do hope they replace or fix mine as soon as possible.
Worked great for a week, then problems  just my rotten luck to get a dud one.

Not only did I pay the $934 & the $75 post to OZ , then I got hit with an extra $173 AU plus $49 for the paper work by my own customs.

This F75 has cost me heaps and is useless for now .

Cheers Bobby.

Well after another email to this big dealer who has more then one email address, I have tried three,The original person I emailed answered saying (sorry I've being away,
we know you have already said this, but have you changed the batteries), so I repeated what they already knew again.
This person asked me to get back as soon as possible, well I did over 24hr ago.
The result is no reply yet! :nopity:

The F75 was great When it worked for the first week.
