Audio setting dependencies

Does anyone know exactly how the dependencies between audio settings works? It looks like volume is automatically set so that it is above the threshold, for instance, but I'd be interested in the settings involved and their mathematical relationships if anyone knows.

There is also a dependency between Audio Boost and Volume for Stereo Mixed Mode as well, I think, which would make sense.

I don't know if this stuff is in the manual or posted somewhere, but I guess I'll start looking around...thought I'd ask first.

The following dependencies exist among the audio settings (changes are made automatically and/or your selections are limited based upon Threshold Volume)...

1. Target Volume must always be at least Threshold Volume + 8
2. If Threshold Volume + 8 > 69 Then Target Volume = 69 and Threshold Volume = 61
3. If Target Volume + Audio Boost > 69 Then Target Volume = 69
4. Otherwise, Target Volume = Target Volume + Audio Boost (as long as #1 is True)

* Audio Boost: For SMM, AM and Disc Volume increased, Disc threshold remains unchanged
