Audio Burst When Detector is Stationary

New member
Yesterday was my first day out with the new V3 (Thanks Monte). I took it to a small public park (that I knew was contain a lot of trash) and began my learning process with the machine. From time to time when I sat my detector down to dig, it would sporadically emit a tone from time to time. It didn't happen every time so there was no pattern of when it would occur.

I was running the machine in "coins & jewelry" mode. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

David

That is just a "freq. build". (Normal) What I do is just hit the Menu button to silence the machine while digging and trigger to resume hunting. Hope this helps.
