Been getting pretty warm here with thunderstorms and large hail warnings. I got up early today, and was in the water at 09:00. Moderate winds created some nice size waves, and every once in a while, a wave would give an audio bleep on the ATX. About half my targets were junk and the other half were coins and jewelry.

Here's the couple pieces of jewelry I got. That little earring on the right, gave a nice low-high audio signal, and came out from about 6 inches.

Love the key and ear ring. That key opened some ladies heart. Hope I haven't missed any treasure like the folks in the cartoon. I know when I get the aggravating sound of a can on the 2500, I usually just probe to make sure and if it's shallow, I dig it. Wonder if I've left any prince albert cans full of coins behind doing this? I had 20 coins at the lake total of $1.93 Saturday, but no jewelry. Felt like a bull in the china shop with the stock coil on the At/Pro. Once I got used to the 5 X 8 coil, I'm spoiled. I covered more ground with the stock coil, but my recovery times were much better with the 5 X 8, or so I believe. Either everybody is leaving their jewelry at home of in the car or the folks with the PI are scooping it up. Sure anticipated finding some fresh drops after the crowd on the 4th of July. I got to witness a Mexican church perform 4 baptisms of young girls at the river and that was something special. I tried wading out up to my forehead with my mask and snorkel, but without a weightbelt, the wake from the boats tossed me around like a styrofoam cup.
