I never doubted once since I started swinging my Infinium LS that I found a company that is concerned with what their customers say and how to correct any "problem". I was a QA manager for a multi-million dollar company and have a good background in saying so. I own 12 detectors from 5 manufacturers and Garrett has been the most responsive and helpful of any company I have dealt with. In my dealings with Garrett they are top notch in my book. Here are a few examples of why I say so:
For the ATX
Garrett is working on a second video on the ATX and one segment will be on cleaning and maintaining the ATX.
Garrett is working on a solution / fix / improvement on the concerns posted on this Forum that they have a control over.
Coil cover are on the way, I don't know if the dirt diggers or the waterwalkers will be more pleased with the design. My guess: the dirt diggers. At lease we will have a coil cover and it could be modified.
For the ATPro
Garrett did a remarkable job in listening and fixing the original ATPro coil and the leaking housing problems. My first run machine had both of these problems.
For the Infinium
Garrett stood behind the guarantee and in my mind well beyond their legal requirements
Waterproof headphones
Making one set that would function properly with both the Infinium and ATPro (at the time) and now they also function with the ATX. The original did not turn the speaker off when used with the ATPro.
I was thinking about the ATX concerns other day and shot Garrett an e-mail before my fingers froze here in the sub zero temps we have been experiencing for the past two weeks. At the end I jokingly mentioned that a heated hand grip would help in temperature such as I was experiencing. Boy it would also be nice in the 37 degree F water today. And what did I get back, but a great reply on my concerns and in response to the heated had grip: "Haha, a heated grip huh ? That
