Attention Virginia Beach Hunters: Help Requested For Lost Ring

Hi folks. I was at a Christmas Eve church service and met a fellow who heard that I metal detected. He related that his wife had lost a ring during the summer of 2003 in the vicinity of 47th street at the oceanfront. The ring is probably silver, though could be white gold...he wasn't sure...with 3 small diamonds in it. It's not worth much money but has sentimental value and he has high hopes that somebody here found it and might return it. I told him there was a decent chance of it, so he asked that I make a post here.

Unfortunately, the only picture available is TINY. I've almost doubled it in size here and sharpened it a tad in the hopes that somebody could ID it. Any help appreciated. I'm sending Adrian a link to this post so he can see if anybody has a possible match. I can email him too, if need be. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it's a little ways out of the normal hunt area for most of us. Of course, in two years it could be anywhere now. It's more than likely migrated to the south a bit by now.
