On 09/06, I went for a solo spin with the Excal, into a 629P -0.1L and SW winds at 5-10. Was in the water by 7P(late) and thought I would try shallow mine again, since it paid dividends on Sunday. Target density was good this day, for so close in to the lane. Nice gut, just off shore, I like it!

Total clad take was decent at $3.12. Got a real nice 14K earring w/green stone, great for the bar! Got a real fine non-stamped silver ring, but it tested out ok. Junk pentagram or star of David ring. 14K solitare with a RIGHTEOUS looking heart shaped...........CZ! I was once again hoping, but once again, no bueno! I have really had some honkers this year in gold rings, but they are all LOSERS!

It was around 11P or so and I had gone back to the truck for a drink and a fresh dip and called Huntress and said I was doing well and thought I would stay while longer. Upon reentering the water, either my 1st or 2nd target was the 10K diamond cluster ring, WHEW, sure glad I stayed! Ya'll shoulda heard me thankin' Jesus, all the way in Texas! OBTW, Huntress is REALLY working an angle on the diamond cluster. We may have a future accord, but she'll have to trade me something I fancy from her loot! I was tired but REALLY SMILIN" on the way home that evening and baled at 1A.
