Atpro won't ground balance !

This thing is going nuts any suggestions, it seems it will take a trip to Dr Garrett will call Monday !

That's the one problem I had. Sent it in and they replaced the coil and gave me an upgraded board that had the ground balance circuitry. One thing I did learn is that if there is almost no mineralization present then it won't ground balance because there is nothing to balance to or something like that. Most places it works like a charm but there is one spot that is so mild that I get no signal at all when trying to balance so it stays where ever it's set.

Thanks sailor man, do I need to send coil also to them?

You should send the control box and the coil. That way everything gets checked. I sent all three of my coils so they could check them all. Only my large stock coil was bad.

Try to reset to factory default ,hold power button for 5 seconds,replace the battery's?

Argggghhh, I feel your pain! At least you know Garrett will get you fixed up in short order.
