Just got my pack of 100 red silicone o-rings. I slipped one on and the fit is much better. It doesn't want to roll out and get sheared off. Connector slides right in. Fit's better and feels better. They are 7/16 od x 1/16 diameter.
I added this note: Garrett told me the size to buy. I noticed that each time I tried to slip the jack in the o-ring would pop out of the groove worse and worse each time. Now I just measured the old factory o-ring. It's a hair shy of 5/8 inch! This is a huge difference in size compared to the new o-rings. So it's possible that the lubricant has attacked the stock o-ring and made it swell and get noodly? The new rings fit like there supposed to.
