What can be done to upgrade my older ATPro with the new twist locks Does Garrett still offer this upgrade?

Call them and make arrangements to have the upgrade done. Had you sent it in 3-4 months ago, it would have been at no cost plus an extra year warranty. There will probably be a charge for it.

I ordered the parts to upgade and the charge was about $35.00, I did not send my unit in as it was working properly. I think that was the price of the original upgrade.


ATPro, GTP 1350, Ace Freedom Plus, Pistol Probe, Vibraprobe.
 
That sounds better yet, I just sent off a GMT to a fellow hunter to day and the UPS price was 35.00 a person is in the wrong business should switch to shipping.

Just a side note. If you are a beach hunter, those cam locks are a sand trap! I went back to the old shaft.
 
Hunt the beach all the time. At the end of the day if you don't disassemble the shaft and rinse you'll have a 1 piece shaft. HH
