Atpro headphone issue, help please!!

Hi all! I have an atpro I bought new last year and it came with land headphones which work great. Well the other day I was going to go relic hunting and it was coming a downpour so I decided to put the waterproof headphones off my Infinium on the atpro to be safe. Well the sound was coming through the headphones AND the atpros speaker?? So I also have a seahunter so I tried those and same result??? Are those blue waterproof headphones for the Infinium and Seahunter not the same ones that they sell for the atpro or what is my issue?? I emailed garrett earlier today but have not gotten a reply yet, just wondered if any of you knew what may be my issue. Thanks!!

Mate that does not sound right? Get it? sound right? Oh boy please forgive my aussie humor but on a serious note if the other head phones you are using have exactly the same connection to fit the ATP then there should be no problem. Could be something really simple other then that I'm not sure what it might be. Hopefully someone here can expand on this. Best of luck.
Cheers!

There was a minor issue with the early AT-Pro and Blue Headphones I have had same experience, rectified on later models........wait for reply from Garrett.......nothing serious.

That is correct. The older blue underwater headphones that were made for the Infinium and Sea Hunter will not work properly with the AT Pro. The sound continues to come out of the speaker.
The blue underwater headphones that are made for AT series work properly. Sound only comes from headphones as it should.
You need to get the underwater headphones made specifically for AT Pro if you want to use them with that model.
Happy Hunting!:)

Ok guys thanks for the information. Wow that is weird because it is the EXACT same connector on both headphones. Well good to know. Again thanks, and I did try searching on this and other forums for headphone issues but was not able to find anything about it. BH

The Blue Headphones for the Infinium LS, did Not work on the early AT-Pro.......... but they work perfectly well on the later At-Pro, AT-Gold and CSI-Pro......and they still work on the Infinium.
The AT-Pro was modified..........not the headphones.
