Atpro for competion seeded hunts?

Hank68

Well-known member
Knowing it has a super fast recovery I bet its pretty good for these hunts, has anyone done that? Thanks, Hank

My hunting partner does pretty well with his!

Used it last year in a seeded hunt ( North Dakota )
on the slandered mode and did well with it.
Mostly silver dimes, quarters, and silver $ coins recovered..

Thanks for info! Hank

Both have their advantages. The 5X8 would focus on the shallow/seeded targets without picking up deep iron that may be present. But I would just go with the stock coil for more coverage and just notch-out everything below dimes.

Thanks I will use the stock for the hunt,Hank

It's great for hunts. I use to use another brand just for competion hunts until I got my AT PRO and tried it out. I was amzaed and not it's my NEW competion detector!!!

The AT Pro has that ability to change its frequency slightly...i havnt used it but its supposed to be good if you have other detectors close by which hunts can get to be like so it will help there, the depth is easy cos most of the stashes are near the surface..my local club has banned scoops or diggin tools because the silver is so close to the top you can scoop with your hand

Thanks for all the info!
