ATPro a coin finding magnet

Here are some pics I took of Ron Dean hunting with my ATPro. Hunting at a boy scout camp and around the lodges.
about an hour of hunting.
ATPro is awesome coin finder. Coins were nothing special but deep and dug just a little junk to see what the signals were telling us. Also found a silver wing or half of one so no idea what it use to be.

Great to see it in actual field conditions. I got mine a couple of weeks ago but due to a bum knee haven't been able to get out to use it. So I have just been studying the manual and learning all I can without actually getting out. The only gripe I have so far is that the connections for the cables are recessed into the powerhead and it is heck trying to get them connected if you have big fingers. I finally took the coil completely off and managed to get them connected. When you twist the coil wire around the rod beforehand it puts a spring like tension on the connection and makes it hard to align the two little spikes and the tiny holes. Garrett, are you listening? I think a little redesign may be in order on future models? I sure like the light weight. I have a nagging back injury and the GTI 2500 is so heavy it wears me out after just a short time. I should be able to swing this baby for several hours before collapsing. Onus

Good news to hear for us coin and ring hunters:clapping: Now when the snow leaves, it will be our turn to get back at it.

john what I really like about it we could hunt with sensitivity all the way open and not get falsing. never been able to that with my other detectors. usually had to set them at 4,5,or 6 max. We hunted in pro coin mode, iron audio on and dug only junk we wanted to see what it was. and of course 2 coke cans 9 inches deep lol

Hey, I'm new and just got out two day ago with my new AT Pro and found 26 cents in two hours, all clad nothing valuable. Wanted to know what mode you were running and were you had your sensitivity set? Seems like when I have mine up or I get multiple tones, feel that when I turn it down I might not be getting as deep as I should. Could be I just need to use it more and learn the AT Pro . Thx

That is what I like to hear. The wife and I are mainly coin hunters. Looks more each day as the reports come in that the At Pro is going to live up previous billing. :)

Thanks for the report

Jerry

I found one of those silver wings this year too. Mine is studded with fake diamonds. Think it is a pendant for a necklace.

I went 2 days this past week end. 28 coins both days. Seems to be my limit. I did the easy thing... std mode/max iron disc/ sensitvity on 4. targets are loud. If you get a good signal both directions---Dig.

I tried to upload a pic but it is larger than 429 k. sorry
