ATP - Great coin sniffer (but U know that) !

My stepson gained permission to hunt a co-workers home. The place was built in 1952 on former farm property. Sometimes 50's era home yards are ok for silver but they don't rate high on my list. I am impressed at my stepson's efforts to get us in new places. I've been taking him to some older sites and he's totally stoked after digging his first CT copper last week with his ACE 250. I keep offering him my ATP, telling him the audio can sound like what he listens for - Garrett coin alert. He declined again so I decided to use it first to check out the yard. Plenty of clad for the couple of hours we spent there. The musket ball pictured did not come from the yard. The four wheat cents (1934, '44, '47, '49) were one spill about five inches deep, and the dime was a foot away at six inches. I think NOW he will eventually take up my offer to give the ATP a try!

Nice hunt and very cool that it's an activity that you can share with your stepson!
