... in the most unlikely place. I was hunting a popular beach in the off season and felt fortunate to find anything at all. Total was 9 pennies, a dime, and an approx 5 oz surf fishing anchor. Didn't realize one was a wheat until a day or two later when I was double checking the finds (I was just amazed it was not one of the "new" pennies and corroded almost beyond recognition...) Not a place I would expect a wheat. Noting the lack of corrosion I'm pretty sure it was not laying there for the last 62 years... thinking of going back with the smaller coil to see what is hiding in between the junk. That place was incredibly trashy...
