Ground Balance 67 -- 87 I GBalanced a bit more this time
Pro Zero and Coin
Sensitivity Maxed
Iron Audio of and on as needed for verifying targets
The coins are cad.
The trash:
The objects are just interesting to see thru the ATP. The large lid was a quarter a about 14". I should have stopped digging after I was elbow deep in that hole. The bent nail was PP'ed just like it looks. It was clear it was iron, but I just had to dig something shaped like an "L" down about 8". It too, was identified as iron. The lead fishing weight and Buzz Bomb were just solid hits as nickels and were ~ 6" to 8". These were just clean tones, but it was clear that these were not coins.
The rest came in as iron, but looked like coins, but with "Iron Audio", unmistakably iron. I dug them because I just did not believe the ATP. Then it was That Dime.
I think the dime is a 1948. It came in repeatedly with a very good high tone, an ID ~54 -- 58 and a clear indication of Iron. I dug it just like the bottle caps, because it was just strange sounding, I did not believe the ATP, the ~ 10+ depth reading and it was just an interesting tone combination and VID. As you can see, it is fused with something iron, that I have not be able to removed ..... yet.
The ATP would be impossible to use without a pin pointer. The holes that get to 12+ inches and the pin pointer indicating there is metal, I just let go. The volumes of tailing even with a small hole are much easier search that with the pin pointer that the ATP.
