ATM report

Just got my ATM from Kellyco to day. Think I might have got a bad coil it was throwing VDI's all over and had a really annoying static or scratchy sound. This is after the first turn on and off. I turned it on the second time and the first thing I noticed after doing a factory reset is I didn't get the tone that is normally heard on a reboot. If I don't turn on the wireless and use the external speaker I hear the tone. The iron grunt that the ATP made was a more pleasing sound, this one is scratchy. Anyway I called Garrett and they are right on the ball about this issue. Its definitely a different machine than the ATP. I'll report on further developments.

Interesting... when I fired mine up that is how mine was behaving with the annoying static. Almost like super hyped up because there was too much gain / sensitivity. However then it calmed down. I can certainly tell this machine has more horsepower under the hood. Sorta like how I felt when I drank my first energy drink about 10 years ago. Won't ever do that again

I am positive Garrett will take good care of you.

Too funny! I too remembered my first JOLT COLA beverage, and it was my last too! Just too much nervousness for me to handle.

Others that have the ATM try a reset with your wireless connected and see if you get the double tone when it resets. Mine doesn't and I'm curious if this is normal or do I have a problem? Mine will sound the double tone when I use the external speaker. I'm going to hook up my regular headphones and see what kind of response I get.

Just wondering..Did you charge the phones up all the way first?

No, I didn't charge the phones but I did connect my GG Amphibs and I hear the double tone on a reset. I'll do a full charge before I assume there is a problem. Another thing I noticed when I connected my GGs I heard a pleasant iron growl that I'm not hearing with the wireless.

I just plugged in my phones to charge them and I get a solid red light. Does this indicate they have a full charge? I've read the manual and don't find any indication of how you're suppose to know when the headphones have a full charge. I'm assuming that the red light would be flashing if there is a low charge and a full charge indicated by a solid red light.

There should be a small pamphlet in the wireless headphone box.

In any case here is the info you are seeking.

Full charge is indicated by the light being off.

Battery life: up to 30 hours operation. Recharge in 5 hours.

When I reset I hear a double tone beep.

In my excitement at opening my new toy I discarded the box and ripped open the small plastic bag holding my headphones. I retraced my steps and found my box with the instructions, manual and charging cord.
