Hi Guys,
I took my ATG out for another swim yesterday. After a few hours of scooping up pull tabs and a various assortment of junk, my trustworthy ATG managed to sniff out two more gold rings within 15 minutes of each other. I'm beginning to define detecting as hours of boredom separated by moments of adrenaline. Still, there's nothing like the rush you get from seeing a shining flash of gold at the bottom of the scoop.
The class ring is dated 1945 so I guess the owner must be in their mid 80's by now if they're still with us. Here's a pic ...
Good Luck Out There!
