[/img] Didn't get to hunt the midways today,so I hunted by the horse corral. Lots of people there today, party day I guess. Got my first dollar coin ever never dug one before. No clad here this area most of been hammered for a long time. All the coins were 2 to 4 inches deep, sitting ducks for the ctx.Anyhow all coins were adjacent to some iron or other trash or with trash. Also found a 39d Jefferson nickel semi key.The ctx continue to amaze me.sube

Congrats on your great finds! I am considering hunting in a couple of fair grounds in my area. Could you share some tips on getting permission, areas in the fairgrounds that have the best potential, and any other suggestions to get me started.
Thanks
Chuck
