My buddy and I snooped for some old coins and things today. He used the AT Pro, I used the AT Gold. Both had the 5" x 8" coil on the lower rod. We each got a silver coin and a wheat cent.

The 1941 Newfoundland Coin, had it been the double die type, would be worth about $300.00. Unfortunately, it's not, so it's worth about a dollar.

Got a nice strong signal, and out popped a nice commemorative Prince Edward Island Token!

A very welcome find up north here, a 1904 Barber Dime. And, another 1966 quarter popped out again too. A great day it was. Now if the temperatures would just drop 10 degrees, it would be perfect!

Both of you found some good silver. Barber coins are on my wish list. I'm still not over my little land hunting trip Sunday. 2 of the 3 permission letters I've sent out are on land and if I get permission to detect these areas, I'm going to have to endure some pain. One of the areas I asked about has a lake and I prefer water hunting, but one of these sites is so valuable, I would work it exclusively as it's an old park with lots of history.

Hey........sounds like a few great hunts coming up! Good luck and I am looking forward to seeing your finds.
