John, or any other AT Pro user,

I believe I read in this forum to really do well on silver coins you can manually adjust the ground balance less than what the auto adjust would do, so if I auto adjusted at 85 I could then change it to a 75 and that would be sharper for silver coins. Is that correct? And then just the opposite for gold? I do well finding silver in auto GB but if I can get more depth with that adjustment I am game.

Thanks, waiting for response

It applies to all detectors. if you manually ground the machine, and lower the numbers a few digits, it will be more sensitive to higher conductors like silver. The same is in reverse. Ground balance the detector, raise the numbers a few digits, and it will be more sensitive to lower conductors like gold.
