AT Pro

Probably not the best choice for alt water...a Minelab or PI or a CZ 21 would be optimal...that said, the Pro would kill on the dry sand...when you get down to the wet or hunting the water, you would want to drop the sens a few clicks to get it stable, so you could hunt with it, just dont expect as deep and accurate as the others...that may not be an issue though...It may make you search for nice scallop cuts and washouts where you want to be anyway...in summation: it would work, but theres others that are designed for wet salt hunting. I'd use it though, I have confidence in it and would use it to its limits and pick the locations strategically..:thumbup:.
