At pro with 10x14" coil or ace 250 with 10x14" coil opinions wanted!

So hear me out on this one. Obviously the at pro is the better machine by far but my question is which of these setups for a dry sand only beach machine? Most targets aren't going to be deep so depth not really a factor, the tone roll audio and iron audio of the at pro would definitely help weed out the bottle caps, but the ace 250 SEEMS like it would be lighter to swing. Using the same size coil coverage would be the same. The weight difference may not be that great.
I'm thinking one of these machines would be good to take on a beach hunting trip as I hunt the wet sand orin the surf before during and just after low tide but for high tide while I'm waiting for low tide to come in I think having something to hunt the towel line with would be fun and would at the least produce lots of coins and maybe even a few rings.
So give me your choice and your reasoning behind it if you would please, thanks!

The 250 would do well in dry sand ,it has a preset ground balance and would be a problem in wet salt,or black sand. atp has an adjustable gb, & its frequency would see small jewelry a bit better, and its more adjustable. Both machines have good depth. If salt water/wet salt sand are involved the atp is better(also has a more descriptive audio in pro mode.) The 250 isnt waterproof, atp is. I use my atp to hunt beaches in the midwest(fresh water) when i get hot just walk into water ,cool off and hunt water. Bought my atp to replace 2 machines(1 land & 1 water machine) and it has done that and more.

Ok thanks for the reply. Let me clarify by saying I own both machines, I do know their capabilities quite well and this would only be for dry sand as I have a great sadly water machine I use in the wet sand and in the salt water. I'm just strictly talking about something for use in the dry sand. The point about the ATP seeing small jewelry is a good one. Main consideration for the dry sand machine are performances vs weight and space taken up in the car. Thanks again for the reply.
