First target was the pistol then the Maglite ( that still works), a train button, and some gears.I just can't find the good coins!! LOL Giving the pistol an electric bath.
 
Interesting find. Have you ID-ed the pistol?
 
Alright, I would agree with you that finding valuable coins and jewelry is tough to beat ( so I've heard, haven't done it yet) but finding interesting things is fun, and fun keeps you going. Looks like you found some cool items, congrats. Artie
 
I found a whole whole bunch of those type of pistols when I was cleaning a shed in my uncle's backyard. I ended up finding enough to fill up a bucket. They looked almost identical to what you found. Nice finds.

Yeah, it seemed to be a pretty common thing for the Cylinder to be missing when I found mine.
