Got out to a spot we pounded for years, but I guess not hard enough. LOL First target 5 minutes into the hunt I dug the1809 Half Dollar, walked about 50 feet and dug the 1875 Dime. Both coins were near a piece of iron. Ended up with a Bale seal, Thimble, Mini Ball, and some what-zits

Awesome digs Joe! Really sweet looking silvers ya got there :)

Holy smokes ! Very nice !

On the 1809 half-dollar there are three different possible edges ... Normal Edge, "xxxx between words" edge and "IIIII between words" edge. Which one do you think you have?

Now that is a beautiful half!!! Congratulations

Are you sure you dug that...Do not see too many come out of the ground like that...WOW!!!

HH,

Wow congrats on what I would have to say is the find of a lifetime. Many people never find a bust coin, especially a half.
