Does it cover the plastic stand on the end so you can sit it on ground? I broke it sadly
 
I am not sure if it does or not, but I broke the arm-cuff (which is the same part practically) last summer. I called Garrett and asked how much to buy a new one and they happily offered and mailed me the part absolutely free...even the shipping was covered. Now that is great customer service. Just call Garrett and ask them about the part.

If it wasn't intentional and from normal use, it will probably be covered. If not, it shouldn't cost much the replace. OR there's super glue.
