AT Pro vs Minelab Safari

The Minelab Safari and the AT Pro are both good machines.

If you could buy either one, which would prefer and why?
I was leaning real hard on the AT Pro but the Safari interests me.

Thanks for your imput!

Yep, both good machines...I guess it would depend upon what kind of hunting you prefer, the finds you like to hunt in your area etc...my bud has the Safari, and I have the Pro...I hunt gold, and he hunts old silver...he has found some gold, and I have found some silver...consequently, just based on what we LIKE to hunt, I find more gold, and he finds more silver....so I can understand your tough decision...one thing, both have a decent aftermarket demand, so you will not be out too much if you went either way and decided to change down the road...i could see getting the Safari and hunting old deep silver in the Spring, then getting a Pro and hitting the beaches in the mid/late summer wading around for gold...that would make sense...I like the waterproof aspect of the Pro..
