at pro vrs whites bh300

i wana good beach and shallow water detector will the at pro do as good as a whites bh 300
 
I don't have any experience with the BHID but plenty with the AT-Pro. I use it in both fresh and salt water. I keep hearing people say it doesn't work in salt water but I keep digging stuff there with it! You have to learn to set the ground balance right and it doesn't like heavy black sand. But I've found goodies from dry sand to waist deep in salt and fresh in my area. It's not the deepest machine in salt water, my limit seems to be about six inches. But until I find enough to buy a dedicated salt water machine it's gonna have to do!
 
Salt water or salt & fresh = BHID 300. Fresh water Tesoro Tiger Shark.
 
Use BHID 300 in both fresh/salt water and do well....don't know about AT Pro - never used one or hunted with anyone using one...good luck with whatever you decide!!
