AT Pro using the 5 X 8 Coil

I am sure someone has already asked this question. How can the 5 X 8 coil for the AT Gold (being a 18 kHz coil) effectively work on an AT Pro that is a 15 kHz machine.

It works fine there are detectors that work with lots of different freq with the same coil. V3 Explorer and many others.

I don't think the coil is any specific frequency it's the machine isn't it that is set at the operating frequency. The coil is just a bunch of send and receive windings. They tune the machine (the freq and the coil together) to give it it's best operating function.
