Have you found a difference in depth between the standard and pro modes? If so did you try bumping up the sensitivity while in the standard mode? Also I read where the audio drop's off fast at the 6 inch mark in pro mode. Has anyone got a weak signal and tried putting it in standard mode to see if it came in with a louder signal ?

I wnet in pro mode and got a soft low signal than swicthed to Standard mode and BANG a loud signal. I did this several times to just check. Signals came in both modes.

I think pro mode is barely deeper than standard mode .Pro mode audio gives you more info once you learn how to decipher it.Standard mode bangs loud and clear while swinging fast and hard on the beaches if you need to cover a lot of ground fast. It is unreal how hard and deep the AT Pro hits on minute targets.
I get less iron falsing in standard mode on tiny iron.
Audio is kinda scratchy on deeper targets in Pro mode but the over all audio is much better with my Sunray Pro Gold phones
These results are on fresh water beaches only as I have not been to the salt beaches yet.
