I did not get the upgrades done, I did buy another one that already had the upgrades done to it tho.

The camlocks are great, the wobble in the shaft has gone.

As for the extra length in the arm cuff area, I'm still on the fence with that as I've only had the new one since Friday.

The extra length is 2" btw.

Not seen any other differences yet, and I can not tell if this one has a newer firmware / software / electronics in it.

I can not report on leaks either, as it's not been in the water yet.

Bought one July 6 from KellyCo. Wasn't upgraded. Sent it to Garrett July 15th. Still haven't gotten it back...:sad:

Mines at Garrett now, getting the upgrades and also fixing a depth issue I experianced. Spoke to Hilda, upgardes are only the addition of cam locks, lengthening of the arm cuff shaft and a new 2 year warrantee from date of upgrades, she says there is no software or firmware update included in the upgrade. The 2 year warrantee extention is woth the $39.95. Will post when I get mine back but looks like Garrett is very busy in the service department so it could take awhile.

I sent mine in yesterday for the upgrade and to have them take a look at the issues that I've had. Honestly, I've been pretty disappointed with it and hope that it performs better when I get it back.

Same here ML, have had in in twice for repairs, each time something new. Garrett needs to get them checked out completely before sending them back to the owners, mine came back and my depth of target was jumping all over the place, even when I placed a coin on top of the ground sometimes it would read 2 inches other passes it would read 8 or 10 inches. I have been disapointed with the AT Pro so far.

I only bought mine in April, but I will send it in when winter gets here. My opinion is it is an excellent detector, no problems at all with it and I use it more than my Etrac. The Etrac is more polished but in most regards the ATPro is as good. Btw I use Pro mode zero disc with iron set to 35, works great for me
