Strange request I know but looking for someone in the Raleigh, NC area to help me really learn to operate the AT Pro. Whatever I do I want to do it well. I have taken it out a couple of times and spent more time on settings and digging trash. Willing to pay by the hour etc. I have a couple of farms with old home places to hunt while teaching.. I have also created and buried a place hunt in my yards.. If I do something I want to do it well...

I have watched all of the garrett and youtube videos several times along with the reading the manual. oh yea, and read as many post as I could... Thanks in advance.

Its not that strange of a request. The best way to learn correctly is getting trained by someone that knows the machine. I'm nowhere even close or I would help you out, I have trained 3 people on the AT-Pro with great success.

Just trying to lesson the learning curve.. I wanted to play golf years ago and hit 1000's of balls and finally had a couple of lessons and what a difference... I could enjoy the game while taking hacks but really enjoyed it once I could control my swing.. Going for the same thing here... Thanks for the responses.

Everyone learns differently, for some hands on instruction is best, others can comprehend better by reading & then some need audio visual aides like the videos. Use what works best for you. I wish I was closer would love to help.

I'm in Raleigh. My detecting buddy and I both recently purchased the AT Pro and would be glad to help you out. We generally do our detecting on weekends. I'm retired, but he still works. PM me and we can figure out a time/place to meet/discuss.

I tried to send you PM but it doesn't give me the option like most forums? Must be because I am new to the forum. Are you able to send me one so I can get you my contact info?

Thanks for the responses.... I really appreciate it.

Hum.... I can't send a PM either. Don't know why. I live in North Raleigh and headed towards Wake Forest to play golf. I'll try to see if I can figure it out when I get back.
