AT Pro storage question.

Would it be OK to put a hook in the wall or ceiling, and hang the AT from the coil when not in use, or is it better to lay it down...?

Thanks in advance !

Tom

Wherever you have a spot inside the house I would think is suitable. I've never hung one up, most are in Garrett bags to keep them safe from accidental scrapes and dings, but you won't hurt it by hanging I don't think.

I personally like to lay mine down on a solid surface in a safe place. I would never hang it by the coil due to the strees on it. Also it could get knocked off or caught on something and yanked. But that's just me. HH

Thanks for the help.
I have been keeping mine laid down.
I hadn't thought of it getting knocked down from a hanging position.
I guess I'll stick with what I've been doing all along.

Tom.

The picture is of a mount I made for the Ace 250. I also made one for the GTI 2500 and it has worked flawlessly for several years.

Thanks Oak & RSB !
RSB, I really like that mount you made...
I might just have to fashion one for my AT.

Just make sure to take the batteries out if stored for any length of time...
The wall hanger works great and saves space...but not by the coil...
RSB has the right wall hanger....
