AT Pro Stock coil question

How does the stock coil on the AT Pro pinpoint?

I really prefer the new 5x8 coil they have in their spring
package special.

For the guys that are using the AT Pro on the beach what coil are
you using?

Thanks!

You can also detune the detector to make pinpointing even more accurate.

(below) How to de-tune a metal detector. Even though the example uses the ACE, the AT Pro is detuned the same way. Hope this helps.

Use a large DD on the beach in wet sand. Dry sand it doesn't matter. I personally prefer concentrics .

Good deal as you will eventually end up using boht at various times. larger area with large coil and it pinpoints fine right about where the front of the stem and coil meet together the first small hole there in the coil.

In my opinion save your money on the extra coil. The stock coil is a great shape and DD. Once you learn how to use it you won't need the smaller anyway. Of course in my opinion only.

I think I'm going to follow your advice on just using the stock coil.

I'll be using the AT Pro for Fresh Water beaches and large areas
such as soccer field.

It's easier to just change machines than change coils anyway I guess
and if I want to use a smaller coil ... I'll just use my Compadre.

Thanks for your opinion!
