AT Pro sniper coil not available until the end of January

I was told by Garrett in an email. Cant use it right now anyway but I thought I would just pass it on.

I find it hard to believe that the people at Garrett could not fathom that the consumer might want to change coils or headphones. Someone in the engineering department needs a quick kick in the pants!. But then I remember what a rush it must have been for them to get the AtPro onto the shelves after word leaked out. Now you can buy an AtPro just about anywhere. It's the old rule of supply and demand but in this case the demand has far exceeded their expection of supply. To some degree, the new coils and electronics has done a lot to eliminate the need for a bunch of seperate coils. But that little sniper has always been a must in many situations. Onus

You can change the coils that is what makes this a sweet water detector. They just need to get them made we have been waiting long enough. The headphones can be changed also with a little work you can use any headphones out there.
