AT Pro Returned Today

My AT Pro Arrived UPS this afternoon. Back from Garrett after being repaired for Falseing Issue. I quickly rigged it up and gave it the wrist wiggle and lucky me, everything seems beautiful. No beeps or whistles. Tried scrapping it along the tough grasses and no chirps. Can't wait to try it on the beach. My defective machine would beep every time I bumped the sand, so I am really looking forward to working with the fixed unit.

The invoice said I was giving a new coil and some labor activity. I assume they did that terminal block fix. I also was given the Garrett Digging tool which I like. My overall experience with Garrett was very pleasant and fast. I wish I had never received the less than perfect machine, and it was an inconvenience to have to ship it back and wait, but, I have to say that Garrett handled the situation better than most and exceeded my expectations.

Now....Back to searching and digging. And learning!

Your experience equaled mine. I got my AT back today also. Unboxed it too late for me to take it outside and try it but plan on doing so tomorrow. I expect to have the same experience as you upon trying it again. Garrett has one of the best customer service and repair sections in the industry. Bar none. Got the digging tool too. I like it. For my kind of digging I wont use it much. Got plenty of hand diggers, but might just offer it up as a prize on a contest of some kind, here in the AT forum. That would be fun. I wont sell it. Needs a reason to be given away. Contest sounds good.

Regardless, I cant wait to try out my fixed AT tomorrow at the beach. Went out there the other nite with my xterra for an hour or so and found some clad and the usual junk and bottle caps and one piece of junk jewelry. My heart skipped a beat when I first saw the stones flash in the sunlight. But typical kind of cheap stuff that kids or teens wear. But thats alright...it shows that jewelry is there....somewhere...and I can find it. Only found a few gold rings and other jewery in my years of hunting. Hope to find many more.

All I can say is thanks to Garrett for making such a quick turnaround on my AT and for making a great machine cause it was hunting deep before the fix, even with all the swawks and beeps of the falsing..I could hunt through it and did. It hunted DEEP. I look forward to more such...without the noise. :) Thanks Garrett.
