Does Garrett provide some sort of cap or cover for the headphone jack to protect it from water and dust when the headphones are not in use ?
 
Mine came with a attached cap. Are you saying yours is missing?
 
It does come with one, I had to remove it to hook up the headphones..
Call and speak to Brad or Sue at Garrett, I'm sure they will fix you up..
 
Yup, I lost mine and called them up and they took care of me.
