I have had the AT Pro for about 2 years now but I have taken a break due to having a kid for a good 6 months now. I got permission to MD a 120 year old plantation house. What is ya'll option would be the best program to run in Pro Zero? Coin? help me!!

Certainly depending on the conditions around the house. Maybe trashy with iron or maybe trashy with Gold coins. (We wish)
One good way to start is Pro Zero with as little discrimination & as much sensitivity as the machine can stand. This will probably need adjusted for different areas. What the hunt depends on really is what is actually there, and using your instincts to wring as much out as you can.
Good luck 8928

Thanks for the advice I was thinking Pro Zero with iron dis around 25 or 30 and sensitivity all the way up. I never use headphones so I might give them a try has well....

Head phones are the first and best setting you can run. There isn't a lot of tone left, unless you have bionic hearing, on 7-9" deep cent and dime size coins. I run pro zero, 0 disc. and sen maxed. I like to hear everything under the coil. Those faint high tones intermingled with iron can often be a good target. Nothing wrong, however, starting out on the site running the A T a little tame. But, to get the deepies, at some point you will need to max the A T for optimum results. Good luck. HH jim tn

Try to always use headphones, helps you zero into the zone. And nothing is more annoying than some dink beeping around when your trying to enjoy the beach or park.

I would run it in Pro Mode, 10 on iron discrimination, iron audio turned on and run it at the highest sensitivity possible. If you start getting some EMI from power lines or cell phone interference, try changing the operating frequency. Keep the coil as close to the ground as possible to gain that little bit of depth. I like to grid potential good target producing areas. Take your time, overlap each swing, and detect each area with 2 sweeps coming from different directions. Remember, those deep whispers will probably not ID properly, so dig them, as they are often times well sought after targets.

Good luck!

Cool I learned a couple things too!
